Faba bean is an important protein crop, notable for its high yield potential and adaptability to cooler climates. However, achieving stable yields remains a challenge. Addressing this issue from a genetic perspective requires field testing of a wide range of accessions across diverse environmental conditions. In this context, we present the ProFaba dataset, which includes phenotypic data for several traits evaluated in multiple environments across Europe, along with 539,643 high-quality SNP markers. This dataset, developed through extensive collaboration between public and private institutions from five European countries, is now a valuable resource for the scientific community.
