Description
This is a script of analysis specifically for my project focusing on Gendered Difference in Motivation Profiles, Achievement and STEM Aspiration of Elementary School Students.
In this project, I work with a dataset of Finnish elementary school students’ motivational beliefs (Subjective Task Value/STV and Self-concept of ability/SCA) towards math, science and Finnish in the last two years of elementary school; Grade 5 and 6.
This study investigated the person-oriented patterns of students’ motivational beliefs in three academic domains, taking into account gendered difference and the students’ STEM aspiration at the end of primary school. Data were collected from students in Helsinki, Finland.
